Aprica is located in the Italian Alps in the Lombardy region. It was established in 1947 and has around 50km of runs with the longest run being over 6km long. As ski resorts go, therefore, Aprica is pretty small. The nightlife isn't too rowdy, but there are plenty of bars, restaurants and coffee shops, as well as a cinema, a swimming pool and a couple of ice skating rinks.

The nearest airport to Aprica is Milan which is 160km and takes around 2 hours to reach.
For beginners
The resort is an excellent area for beginners as it has some very good nursery slopes along with a fantastic ski school. The resort has 7 blue runs and has a great snow record. There are 10 drag lifts which are especially good for snowboarders.
Aprica accommodation
Aprica is made up of a number of great hotels that are very close to the villages and ski areas. There is plenty of ski in ski out accommodation available, though not all ski operators offer it at this resort.
